Evans Consulting Wins 2023 Charles E. Varnell Memorial Award from ATCA
Falls Church, VA – August 15, 2023 – Evans Consulting is proud to announce that they have been awarded the 2023 Charles E. Varnell Memorial Annual Outstanding Achievement Award for Small Business by the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA). The award is presented to a small business for outstanding achievement or contribution, which has added to the quality, safety, or efficiency of air traffic control. The awards will be presented at the ATCA Global Conference in Washington, D.C. on November 2, 2023 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
This award recognizes Evans Consulting’s contribution to the ATCA Women in Aviation breakfast and its facilitation and planning work leading up to it. “We are proud of our team members who worked diligently to make this event a success,” said Jack Moore, Managing Partner of Evans Consulting. “We have an amazing team of talented consultants who are passionate about supporting our clients in the aviation industry.”
The team at Evans Consulting includes Ellesse Krall, Allison Nicholls, Rasha Fakhreddine, Jessica Zucal, Sara Morgan Watters, Kristen Roberts, Nikki Jedlicka, Ashley Tolub, Stephanie Perlick, Courtney Wells Fusco, Laura Borntraeger, Nadi Bishop, Elizabeth Ittner and Dawn Stevenson. Each team member contributed significantly to the success of the Women in Aviation breakfast that earned Evans Consulting this award.
The Charles E. Varnell Memorial Annual Outstanding Achievement Award was established in memory of Mr. Charles E. Varnell who became a member of ATCA in 1969 and is widely recognized for his many accomplishments in support of the National Airspace System, as well as his integrity, loyalty and professionalism. Over the years, Mr. Varnell worked on the preparation of many ATCA sponsored conferences and events. He was especially passionate about activities that supported the well-being of ATCA and its members.
