Evans Consulting’s FUNdation Awards $2,500 Grant to DC Family & Youth Initiative in Honor of Juneteenth

Evans Consulting is thrilled to announce that its FUNdation has granted $2,500 to the DC Family & Youth Initiative (DCFYI), an organization dedicated to empowering Black communities through youth support programs.

In alignment with Juneteenth celebrations, Evans Consulting launched a crowdsourcing campaign where employees nominated and voted for organizations committed to uplifting Black communities. DCFYI emerged as a standout, recognized for its impactful work with teens in the D.C. area. This grant will bolster DCFYI’s efforts, providing essential resources and unforgettable experiences for the youth.

Susan Punnett, Founder and Executive Director of DCFYI, expressed her gratitude, noting the grant’s significance, especially as they hosted their annual all-teen birthday party last weekend. The event was a joyous occasion filled with fun games, cake, and treasured memories. Each teen received a photo album capturing moments from the past year, a keepsake they deeply value.

Evans Consulting invites the community to join in making a difference. Connect with DCFYI at upcoming events and meet the inspiring teens and dedicated volunteers.
