Yuctan joined Evans in 2022 and brings over 15 years of executive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), compliance, and strategy for public and private equity backed government contractors.  Yuctan has focused his career on improving financial insights for the organizations he has supported by increasing forecast and reporting accuracy and enhancing indirect rate management because he believes leaders need reliable data to make informed operational decisions for positive outcomes.

Yuctan began his government contracting career with General Dynamics where he held various finance roles and supported over $3 billion in mergers and acquisitions as well as advocated on behalf of the company with DCAA and DCMA. After a decade with GD, Yuctan went to work for Cubic Corporation as the Director of Business Operations where he focused on integrating recent acquisitions into the company’s financial ERP system while also having P&L responsibility for a commercial product line. Just prior to joining Evans, Yuctan served as the Vice President of Finance for IDEMIA Identity & Security North America, where he oversaw the FP&A and Pricing teams, focusing on identifying cost saving opportunities and improving margins with various pricing strategies. 

Yuctan has served on several boards where he has been actively engaged in providing business and community leadership. These include the Northern Virginia Technology Council, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, and the Equal Footing Foundation. Yuctan is a “Double Wahoo” having earned both a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration (Darden School) from the University of Virginia. In addition, he earned a Certificate of Professional Development from The Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania.  Yuctan also serves as an active swim dad and chauffeur to his three children and lives in the Fairfax area with his wife, Gillian, who has the hardest job – teacher.
